COSMOCORPO
UMA VIAGEM CÓSMICO-ANATÔMICA PELO INTERIOR DO CORPO HUMANO. 

 
Uma dança de órgãos, sistemas e processos fisiológicos, como: respirar, digerir, excretar, adoecer, curar, sonhar, delirar, envelhecer, morrer. Nessa viagem de dentro para fora, e se encontrássemos órgãos fundidos com plantas e animais, respirações tomando a forma de nuvens ou furacões, líquidos fluindo como rios, ou cavidades parecendo buracos negros siderais? E se também encontrássemos lixo, plásticos, resíduos? E se percebêssemos que ficamos febris conforme o planeta aquece e que apagamos conforme as paisagens desaparecem?

COSMOCORPO propõe repensar as conexões entre dentro e fora, parte e todo, corpo e cosmos, buscando uma experiência de ecologia que acontece dentro de nós.

"O cosmos interno e externo, o ser humano, a natureza e a tecnologia se misturam. E isso não apenas nas projeções ampliadas e atravessadas por listras de cores abstratas. Diante delas, Guilherme Morais e Caroline Alves compartilham uma pequena pista de dança, que exploram com passos mecânicos e movimentos precisos. Seus corpos, vestidos com jalecos brancos, são captados pelas projeções e quase absorvidos pelas imagens, mas suas sombras abrem buracos enormes e visíveis na composição. Quando isso acontece pela primeira vez e, de repente, uma forma pulsante parece brotar diretamente dos dançarinos, um sonoro “Ah!” e “Oh!” percorre as fileiras repletas de crianças. E aquilo que os dois estão fazendo ali na frente — de acordo com a imaginação nada convencional da coreógrafa brasileira Elisabete Finger — como morder as luvas de borracha ou soltar fumaça do bumbum em posição invertida, é suficientemente intrigante para manter a atenção. E afinal: são mesmo humanos? Em determinado momento, ao som de uma trilha que parece saída diretamente da sala de máquinas do universo, Morais puxa fios e cabos do corpo colapsado de Alves." - Sabine Leucht, Tanznetz.

KOSMOKÖRPER
A COSMIC-ANATOMIC TRIP THROUGH THE INSIDE OF THE HUMAN BODY. 

A dance of organs, systems, and physiological processes such as breathing, digesting, excreting, mutating, fevering, healing, dreaming, synapsing, aging, dying. A choreography that embodies internal activities, allowing them to take over and emerge outward. In this delirious inside-out dance, what if we meet organs merged with plants and animals, breaths taking the shape of clouds or hurricanes, cavities resembling sidereal black holes, or liquids flowing like rivers? What if we also see rubbish, plastic, waste? What if we realize we are feverish as the climate changes, and we fade as earthly landscapes disappear?

KOSMOKÖRPER proposes to rethink connections between inside and outside, part and whole, body and cosmos, searching for an experience of ecology that takes place inside us.

"The inner and outer cosmos, human beings, nature, and technology blur into one another. And not only in the highly magnified projections streaked with abstract bands of colour. In front of them, Guilherme Morais and Caroline Alves share a small dance floor, which they explore with mechanical steps and meticulously measured movements. Their bodies, dressed in white lab coats, are caught up in the projections and almost swallowed by the images themselves — but their shadows tear unmistakably oversized, human-shaped holes into the picture. The first time this happens, and a pulsating, floral structure seems to suddenly sprout directly from the dancers' bodies, a loud “Ah!” and “Oh!” ripples through the audience, packed with children. And what the two up there are doing — according to the apparently rather unconventional imagination of Brazilian choreographer Elisabete Finger — whether it's chewing rubber gloves off their fingers or releasing smoke from their butts while in a shoulder stand, it’s certainly intriguing enough to keep watching. And are they even human? At some point, to a soundtrack that seems to come straight from the machine hall of the universe, Morais pulls wires and cables from Alves’s collapsed body." - Sabine Leucht, Tanznetz.
